Hello Everyone :) Here I have built up the eye detailing and creating depth to the fur on the cheek, I am currently working with 3B / F / 3H pencil grades. He is a young leopard so inbetween having a cub / adult look and features. I've missed having his eye to encourage me with the drawing and bring life to the picture, with most drawings I will tend to work across the page whereby main features of the face will come later on.

I just have no idea how you get this level of detail, and the whiskers! I'm indoors drawing myself today and instead of concentrating I'm looking outside to the sunshine! No way to get the sort of results you do!
thankyou Jennifer :) I share your thoughts on the sunshine today! I must admit it does take a lot of concentration! Jules
OH JULES!!!! Every time I visit, I'm more amazed at your incredible talent. This is coming out so beautiful..her eyes made her come to life...I'm looking forward to your next post!!!
Yes, the animal is rich in details of fur, spots ,wishkers ,the bright of eyes. The felines are my faborite animals together with bears and many large herbivores. But hironically is one of kind of animals that i have much dificulties for paint, due the details of spots and stripes in the case of tigers and wild cats. And also i always paint my animls in company of his landscape, i never painting animlas without his environment.
thankyou Hilda :) yes I was thrilled to finally get to his eye, up to that point I felt like I was struggling to connect with the drawing, but I'm pleased at how he is shaping up now!
Thankyou Marc :) I am always drawn to the felines! Jules
